Music download cards, explained
What is a music download card?
A music download card is a printed card with a QR code that opens an album or tracklist on the fan's phone. A Slappcard is a digital music download card with your artwork on it: fans scan the code with their phone camera and your tracklist opens on a private page, where they can stream it and download it. No app needed.
How do digital download cards work?
You design the card and add your tracklist, and we print the cards and host your page. A fan scans the QR code, enters their first name and email to unlock the page, then streams or downloads your music. Every unlock shows up in your fan list.
Some people call these digital streaming cards. The streaming is for your own page, where fans play your full tracklist. It does not put your music on Spotify or any other streaming service.
Download cards vs CDs

Common questions
How much is a pack, and where do you ship?
Legacy Slappcards: 100 cards for $120.00, up to 1,000 cards for $180.00. Free shipping to the US and Canada. See pricing →
What if a card is lost, damaged, or won’t scan?
Go to the Support page and send a request. You can scan the QR on the page, type the card code, or paste the card link. A photo of the card helps. Cards in a pack share one link per design, so one lost card does not stop the others from working. For a custom per-card run, we can issue a new card code.
Is hosting included, and for how long?
Yes. Hosting for your private fan page, your tracklist, and the downloads comes with every pack while Slappcard runs the service, at no extra cost.
Is my music private?
Your music is not listed on any public page, and there is no public storefront to browse. Fans get in through the QR code or link on your card, then enter their name and email to unlock it.
